Request For Flexibility (RFF)

To further develop students' critical thinking skills and academic achievement, the Council requested a waiver to add up to two additional teacher professional development days to the school calendar. This will allow teachers to engage in effective learning in critical areas of the curriculum, including project-based learning. This waiver was approved by the county in 2015-2016 and was in effect for three school years. Here is a copy of our new Request for Flexibility.
